Set Your Fitness Baseline:

It's important to know where you are so that you can see where you're going and reflect on where you've been. You'll use our exclusive MyLifestyleTracker online app to help you track your 8 Essential Habits for a Healthier Happier YOU, along with your health and fitness results.

If you haven't done so yet, take your BEFORE photos, your weight, and record your body measurements.

Body Measurements Measure your upper arm (half-way between the shoulder and elbow), the largest circumference around your chest, measure your ribs right below your chest, your waist right around your belly button, your hips around the largest circumference of your tush, and your upper thigh at the largest circumference. Keep these measurements handy for future reference.


Get your Tribe Code and set up your account and take your health and happiness quizzes. To get started, you'll need to create an account and register using your TRIBE CODE.

FITNESS TEST INSTRUCTIONS: (optional, but highly encouraged)

FITNESS TEST SUPPORT VIDEOS : Today's link has videos that you can use to help you take your Fitness Tests! You'll find the instructions for the 1-Minute Burpee Test; the 1-Minute Backdrop Test; the Roll-Up Flexibility test, and how to take your waist measurement. You're on your own for the 12-Minute Walk/Run test where you see how far you can go in 12 minutes. GO YOU!!

OK, you're right - we don't love burpees! The ONLY time we'll ask you to do them is during this fitness test. You'll be amazed how much stronger you are and how much easier those burpees get after some training. In fact, let's not even think of it as a burpee. Think of it as "Oh no! I'm stuck on the ground - can I get up?" We just want to make sure we are able to get back up!

Wanna join the MOD-SQUAD? Instead of doing burpees and backdrops for your fitness tests, do the sit-down stand up test and the counter-top push-up test instead. Your results will be artificially inflated, but this will give you an excellent reference for future comparison. To complete the sit-down stand-up test, simply sit down in a regular chair and stand back up, reaching arms to the ceiling with each repetition. Do as many reps as possible in one minute. For your counter-top push-up test, put your hands on a counter-top and keep your body straight as you do as many push-ups as you can in one minute, touching your chest to the counter-top with each repetition. One of your fitness tests is a 12-minute walk/run. Complete it around a track or on a treadmill to get your time. Go as fast as you can without pushing so hard it hurts. Keep your intensity at what feels like about a "7" if you're just starting out, or an "8" if you've been working out awhile on your own personal intensity level. Then when you retake the fitness tests, keep your intensity the same and see if you can get further! Regardless of your current fitness level, TAKE THE Happy Spirit and Healthy Body QUIZZES in MyLifestyleTracker sometime during this first week. You are going to improve SO MUCH! Establish your baseline now so that you can celebrate your SUCCESS every step of the way! Even if you can only do ONE burpee in a minute, you're on the board baby!! And if you're on your way back up, you get to count the rep! If you don't know your health "numbers" you can leave them blank and still complete the tests. No need to fake any fitness scores. Simply enter the ones you know and leave the others blank. You'll find your fitness test when you're logged in to the TRACKER - under Qiuzzes.
